Children’s shoes that look like everyone else's? No more! At Pyk Copenhagen, you can design your own unique children's shoes. But first, it is important to know your child's shoe size.
We recommend that you measure your child's feet so you get the right size. See our guide on how to measure your feet.
When choosing children's shoes, always keep in mind that children must have room to grow and move. You should always buy children's shoes with a growing room depending on the age of your child and the type of shoe. See the inside measures of the shoes further down.
We recommend a growing room of approximately 1 cm. The first 5 mm provides space for the foot to slide forward in the shoe, while the rest is real space to grow.
If you shop from our micro-production, we always write the inside measures when choosing the size. Remember to consider the growing room.
If you design your sneakers in Shoe Builder, then you simply enter the measurements of the feet and then it automatically calculates the right size including growing room. You can always adjust to make sure that your new shoes are absolutely perfect.
Children's feet grow very fast. It is therefore necessary to check and measure the child's feet regularly. In the first two years, it is normal that the feet grows up to 2 cm. each year. At the age from 2 until 6 years 1.5 cm is normal and from the age of 6 to 10 it's closer to 1 cm.
